Rockwall Oratorical Club (ROC) is a Christian Speech & Debate club for home schooled students. We support the mission of the National Christian Forensics and Communications Association (NCFCA), which states that formal speech and debate can provide a means for home schooled students to learn and exercise analytical and oratorical skills, addressing life issues from a Biblical world view in a manner that glorifies God. The purpose of this club is to prepare students for NCFCA competition through instruction, practice, and critique. We believe that competition is one of the best ways to hone skills (as Iron sharpens Iron) and build character.
